Overview: 5th European Vista Usergroup eMeeting
| Matt Eanor from City University London, will present tools that have been developed at City for in integrationg of Webct Mail and Calendar tools with custom-written and standard desktop applications such as Outlook. In his words: "Currently Vista exposes interfaces, adapters and Web Services which can be used to query the underlying database, to import IMS data (student, course and enrolment information), and to access the Mail, Calendar, and Gradebook tools. I propose to briefly discuss the purpose of the interfaces, and then demonstrate (or show slides of) some of the tools that we have developed to illustrate some of possible uses of these interfaces. |  |
| I intend to demonstrate and give rationale for developing (1) a web-based read only user manager, (2) our administration toolset application, (3) prototype Outlook Vista extensions. | |
