This page provides you with a step by step instruction for creating an Assessment in Vista. How to do it

Create the Assessment and Add Questions to it

Create Assessment Screen
  1. From the Assessments screen, click Create Assessment. The Create Assessment screen appears.
  2. In the Title text box, enter the assessment title. This title appears in the assessment listing in both the Section Designer and Section Student views.
  3. Select the assessment type: Quiz, Survey, or Self Test.
  4. If you want to base this assessment on an existing assessment select Base on an existing assessment, and from the drop-down list, select the assessment on which you want to base the new assessment.
  5. If you want to save the assessment and add questions, click Save and Add Questions. The Questions screen appears.
  6. Click Save. The Assessments screen appears and the assessment is added to the assessment listing.
  7. Click the title of the Assessment. The Questions screen appears
  8. From the Questions screen under Add to Assessment, click Add Existing Questions. The Question Database screen appears.
  9. If you want to preview a question before adding it, locate the question and, under Actions, click its Preview icon. The Preview Question pop-up window appears.
  10. End this by cicking Close. The Question Database screen appears.
  11. Next to the question(s) you want to add to the assessment, select the check box(es).
  12. Click Add Selected. The Questions screen appears and the question is added.
Then decide the parameters with Editing Quiz Properties.
