Activating a Course Preview Page

This page provides you with a step by step instruction to the creation of a course preview page. How to do it
With a Course Preview Page you provide information about a course, allowing Students to find out more about the course before they are enrolled. The Course Preview Page can be a single page or a set of linked HTML files, like a web site. To view the Course Preview Page, Students click the underlined course in the Course List on the Entry Page when they access WebCT.
To create the Course Preview Page, you can use plain text or HTML, a HTML Creator is provided.
IMPORTANT: You must save the files for Course Preview Page in the Public Files folder in File Manager.
- Created the preview page for the course
- Upload the corresponding file into the courses Public Files folder.
- From Manage Course, click Course Preview Page Setup. The Course Preview Page Setup screen
appears.
- Do one of the following:
- If a Course Preview Page was previously set, click Choose another Course Preview Page. The Content Browser appears.
- If a Course Preview Page was not previously set, click Browse for Course Preview Page. The Content Browser appears.
- In the Public Files folder, select the file. If you are using a set of linked HTML files, like a web site, select the file for the first page.
- Click OK. The Course Preview Page is set.
