This set of 25 joint conferences is the largest annual gathering of researchers in computer science, computer engineering and applied computing. Many of the 25 joint conferences in WORLDCOMP are the premier conferences for presentation of advances in their respective fields.

The TRIPLE-I Conference is a joint venture of the conferences I-KNOW, I-MEDIA and I-SEMANTICS and reflects the increasing importance and convergence of knowledge management, new media technologies and semantic systems. This unique concept aims at bridging the gaps between the various communities and their technology fields.

Die DeLFI-Tagung präsentiert dem interessierten Fachpublikum die jeweils neuesten informatiknahen Ergebnisse aus Forschung und Praxis zum Thema E-Learning. Sie fördert so den regelmäßigen Austausch zwischen Anwendern, Anwenderinnen, Entwicklern und Entwicklerinnen.

Wie beeinflussen neue Nutzungsformen im Internet die Vermittlung von Wissen? Welche Lehr- und Lernstrategien sind für die Erreichung bestimmter Bildungsziele geeignet? Wie kann die Nachhaltigkeit von Lerninhalten und -szenarien sichergestellt werden? Welche urheberrechtlichen Gesichtspunkte sind zu beachten?

Entwicklungen wie Social Software, Web 2.0, Mobile Learning und die «Open»-Strömungen (Open Educational Resources, Open Content, Open Access, Open Innovation) und deren Bedeutung für Lehr- Lernprozesse sowie für die Forschung werden im Zentrum der Diskussion stehen.

The 2nd international conference of the Danish Research Centre on Education and Advanced Media Materials (DREAM) will present and discuss the most advanced research on digital content creation, its socio-cultural contexts and educational consequences.

This interdisciplinary conference aims to focus on the exchange of relevant trends and research results as well as the presentation of practical experiences gained while developing and testing elements of interactive computer aided learning. Therefore pilot projects, applications and products will also be welcome.

The Special Track CAF 2008 – in conjunction with 11th International Conference on Interactive Computer aided Learning (ICL 2008) – provides an interdisciplinary forum for international scientists and practitioners to discuss various aspects of computer-based knowledge and skill assessment in learning settings and based on that feedback provision for students and teachers.

World conference on elearning

The IMCL2009 actually aims to promote the development of Mobile Learning in the Middle East, provide a forum for education and knowledge transfer, expose students to latest ICT technologies and encourage the study and implementation of mobile applications in teaching and learning. The conference will also present an opportunity for educators to develop new skills and to stimulate critical debate on theories, approaches, principles and applications of m-learning, hence facilitate dialogue, sharing and networking between diverse cultures with regard to the optimal use of emerging technologies.
